In the late 1960s, with grit and courage in the face of danger, a multi-racial group took on the village, schools, police and the real estate industry in order to integrate housing in La Grange.

Hear firsthand accounts from longtime La Grange residents Velaine Carnall and Lorna Neuneker, who led the local integration movement. In September, CDG honored their efforts with a special award for each of them.
