A Brief History of CDG

The CommUNITY Diversity Group (CDG) of La Grange was founded in the spring of 1994 as the merger of The Diversity Group and The Community Unity Organization, both of La Grange.

Diversity Days in La Grange

Each September, the La Grange community comes together for CDG’s Diversity Days!

For 2023 it started September 8 at La Grange Public Library with a screening and discussion of “Till”, the powerful, multi-award-winning film about Mamie Till’s quest for justice for her son, Emmett. And on September 10, we held our 32nd annual Race Unity Rally at La Grange Village Hall.
