Diversity Days 2017 began at the La Grange Public Library with a free screening (and discussion after) of “I Am Not Your Negro”, a 2017 documentary based on author James Baldwin’s writings about his friendships with three major civil rights leaders—Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King Jr. The film is rated 98% on RottenTomatoes.com.
